IP transit is Zenlayer's network product in Cairo, delivering BGP-capable capacity in the metro where Egypt's international routes are commercially aggregated. From one port, traffic can head north across the Mediterranean into European networks or east through the Red Sea corridor towards the Gulf, so a single Egyptian presence faces three audience regions rather than one.

Cloud Connect and Cloud WAN are not currently published for Egypt, and neither is CDN nor public cloud. Enterprises that need dedicated hyperscaler on-ramps or private interconnection normally terminate them in a neighbouring Middle East market and extend into Cairo over transit, keeping the Egyptian leg simple and the interconnection complexity in a fully stacked metro.

Colocation in Egypt

Zenlayer's Egyptian inventory is a single data center in Cairo, certified to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. It is published for bare metal and IP transit, and colocation is not offered as a product in this market. Teams that need racks of their own in Egypt will be working with other providers, or placing their colocation footprint in one of Zenlayer's neighbouring Middle East markets instead.

For most Egyptian requirements this is a workable division of labour.
