LeCloud, the world’s largest video cloud platform that powers LeEco’s unifying ecosystem of content, platforms, devices and applications, furthers its partnership with Zenlayer, a global software defined network and services provider, in LeEco’s massive expansion in the U.S.
A first-of-its-kind ecosystem
LeEco, a global internet and technology conglomerate and digital pioneer, unveiled its innovative TV, phone, VR, bike and car last week in its North American launch event titled “Breaking boundaries to ignite the eco world”. LeEco’s vision is connect all of its devices and create a seamless experience on the open ecoplatform LeCloud.
LeCloud provides comprehensive streaming experience across LeEco’s multiple screens and smart devices with over 750 CDN (content distribution network) nodes in 60 countries and five continents.
A strategic partnership
LeCloud began partnering with Zenlayer in 2014 to deploy and manage its cloud services worldwide. In addition to collaborations in Asia, Europe, Middle East, South America and Australia, LeCloud is expanding its North American presence with Zenlayer in several major cities across the U.S.
“We share LeEco’s vision of a connected and open ecosystem and are proud to be an integral part of the driving force behind realizing that vision,” said Joe Zhu, Founder and CEO of Zenlayer. “We are eager to partner with digital pioneers like LeEco and LeCloud to power a better connected world.”
“In our years of working with Zenlayer, Zenlayer has continued to innovate and expand to support the growing needs of its customers,” remarked Yazhou Wu, CEO of LeCloud. “In particular, Zenlayer was instrumental in assisting with live streaming our Big Bang launch event to audiences around the world.”
